GastroGard Oral Paste treats and prevents gastric ulcers. With Omeprazole, this medication is orally-administered daily (one time per day for a duration of 4 weeks; 1 tube for each 1,250 pounds).

How does GastroGard work?
GastroGard works right where acid is produced. It offers short-term acid neutralizing activity, either at the barrier of the mucous membranes or in the lumen of the stomach. It works to inhibit the stomach acid-producing proton pump, which blocks gastric acid secretion of any cause.
