Description
Dorzolamide HCL Ophthalmic Solution (generic Trusopt) is a drop that treats glaucoma. It contains 2% dorzolamide, which is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that decreases eye pressure. It may also be useful in treating glaucoma in one eye when the other eye is affected.

What are the side effects of Dorzolamide HCL Ophthalmic Solution 2%, 10ml?
If any of the following serious signs of allergic reaction occur, discontinue use and seek emergency veterinary attention:
- Hives
- Closing of the throat
- Difficulty breathing
- Swelling of the tongue
- Swelling of the face
- Swelling of the lips
Less serious side effects may occur. If your pet experiences any of the following, continue administering and speak to your veterinarian:
- Nausea
- Rash
- Fatigue
- Sensitivity to sunlight
- Blurred vision
- Watery eyes
- Itchy eyes
Other side effects may also occur. Speak to your veterinarian about any bothersome or unusual symptoms.
What special precautions are there?
- Do not touch the dropper to the hands, eyes, or any other surface. Contamination could result in an eye infection.
- If difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling occur, discontinue use and immediately contact your veterinarian.
- Speak to your veterinarian about all other medications your pet is taking.

Flush eye with water. Call your vet or emergency animal hospital.
